Cervical cancer is caused by a virus. Now you can prevent it by getting vaccinated.

How much does it cost?

How this vaccine is available will depend on a number of things, including your age, government guidelines and your local NHS policy. If you were born on or after September 1st 1990, then you will be offered vaccination to protect against cervical cancer as part of the government's national immunisation programme (see the 'How do I get it' section for further information).

If you are not eligible for vaccination through the NHS, private clinics will be able to offer the vaccination. In this case, you will have to pay somewhere between £130 and £150 per dose i.e. between £400 and £450 for the full course.
